A year ago, I wrote an article for the Century City Lawyer on Ponzi schemes.  Such fraudulent activity, which involves the payment of “returns” to existing investors from funds contributed by new investors.  Ponzi schemes frequently involve promises of high returns with little or no risk, and seem to particularly flourish during difficult economic times such as what the U.S. has been experiencing.

This year, Fenway Park will celebrate its 100th anniversary.  Even if you are not a baseball fan, Fenway Park is a magical place, a gem from another era that has become even more charming with age.  The small park, with seats for less than 40,000 fans, is one of the best-known sports venues in the world.
