This is the most exciting time of the year for the CCBA—the month leading up to our Annual Installation Banquet and Awards Ceremony.  This year’s Banquet will be our 50th, which is quite a milestone.  I hope you share some of our excitement and will join us on April 30, 2018, to help us recognize our 2018 Attorneys of the Year and celebrate all of the excellent attorneys we have honored over the past five decades.

The Honorable Christine Byrd will once again preside over the installation of the Board and its newly elected officers.
The Banquet will mark the end of my term as CCBA President.  I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this role, and I look forward to supporting my fellow Governors as they take CCBA forward.

This has been a successful year for the Century City Bar Association so far, and I am pleased to report that we have additional exciting events lined up for the remainder of the year and into next year.

On that note, we are extremely fortunate to have Stefan O’Grady on deck as President-Elect. Stefan is an accomplished litigator at Rahn Muntz O’Grady, LLP and has been a dedicated member of our Board.  In a profession that emphasizes the adversarial, part of the CCBA’s mission is to bring attorneys together as colleagues and friends.  Stefan exemplifies the best of that goal, and the Office of the President could not be in more capable hands.
We have full slate of excellent programming in addition to the Banquet, including our famous poker tournament, which will take place later in the fall.  Stay tuned.
Finally, we currently have seats on the Board to fill.  Board service is a wonderful way to connect with other high-quality practitioners and serve the Century City legal community.  If you are interested, please contact Stefan O’Grady ( or me ( directly.
