Dr. Kevin E. Booker, Ph.D., is a recognized expert regarding the impact of psychological trauma on human behavior in cases involving alleged, criminal conduct. He received his professional training at the University of California, to include fellowship training with the Neuropsychiatric Institute (NPI) at the UCLA School of Medicine where he specialized in clinically characterizing brain-behavior relationships, post-trauma.
Dr. Booker's forensic expertise involves the impact of acute, psychological trauma and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)-related conditions on neurocognitive functioning-to include decision-making. He is currently a member of the Medical Staff at South Bay Trauma, Forensics and Behavioral Medicine in Torrance, California where he serves as Lead Trauma Specialist. Dr. Booker is also an instructor at the University of California, Irvine and has appeared on multiple news outlets to include KABC and KNBC. Dr. Booker is currently a sitting member with the Los Angeles Superior Court Panel of Expert Psychologists and Psychiatrists.
